The KanbanBOX start up steps


Workshop 1: operational right away

After a preparation phase in the previous weeks to decide which kanban to work on (purchase, production, handling, sale) and a check on the technical requirements (wifi, workstations with internet access …), the two days of training take place with a KanbanBOX consultant. The goal is to have at least one operational kanban circuit.

The training phases include an inspection, training on the kanban system, the design of the mapping of the value flow, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), the first and important Lean Management tool, and the definition of the e-kanban with the sizing of the first link

.

Workshop 2: customisation


During the third day, the progress of the process is checked, to correct the final one, define any additional processes (sales or production), customise and make changes (e.g. expanding to the management of specific cases such as quality problems, delays, special orders, etc.).

This is followed by advanced training on the use of KanbanBOX (supplier connection process, dimensioning maintenance, import of master data, etc.) at the end of which the resources will be autonomous in the use of the e-kanban and the analysis of opportunities integration with other company software.

Zero problems support calls

After each workshop, after a few weeks, your KanbanBOX consultant will be available to make two Conference calls on the implementation status. The calls, programmable and manageable from the comfort of your offices, can be extended to all team members involved in the process.

These are two useful moments to answer questions on the daily use and autonomous management of KanbanBOX, to discuss any difficulties encountered or special cases that emerged after the meetings, defining together the necessary improvements to be made to the e-kanban system.

Smart working hardware configuration

It is not necessary to purchase any hardware device to start using KanbanBOX: an internet connection and a device capable of surfing the web, such as a PC, tablet or smartphone, is enough. On the other hand, any mobile device is sufficient to scan the barcodes on the kanban cards. During the workshops, the KanbanBOX consultant will support you in configuring your devices.
